The 4dsnowbike is easier to ride than a bike!

October 24th, 2007

The 4dsnowbike does not take experience to ride, we have found it to be easier to ride than a standard bike. It’s almost like training wheels were put back on your bike!! We wont say it’s un-crashable, but you about have to be missing both arms not to be able to hang on for a ride! It is truly amazing on landings! With so much edge you have a great deal of grab time before the bike will go over on you. 4ds 1st test pilot Kirk Green seen in this video, is in his mid 40’s and hadn’t ridden a bike in over 25 years and aced his first run with no sweat! And never put it down once! A big rockin’ thanks to you, Kirk, for all your help!

R&D (Rwreck&Destroy)

October 22nd, 2007

The best part of building the 4dsnowbike is definitely the R&D! We at 4D strive to build as close to indestructible standards as possible, simply because we are hard on things and don’t want them to be breaking when our or your ass is on them!

The KDS prototype was designed with obvious weaknesses to find the breaking point stress factor, so a indestructible design could be implicated into the production model.

It took a 130hp jet ski and 16 crash runs into 60 degree water estimated at 30mph to finely break something! The front board finally broke due to inadequate fasteners from the board to support arm blocks. We had thought this would break way before the water test!

Also on the KDS prototype there are designed weaknesses implicated on the Super Skew Rod mounting, Support Arms, Adjustable Support Bracket, D Clamps, Strong Bands and Mounting Hardware. Although throughout any tests there hasn’t been any sign of stress or weakness of any of these components. With the production of the KDS model having a higher grade then the prototype, we feel safe in saying bring on the abuse!!

Note : On final destruction run it snapped a brand new 1000lb rated ski rope! Now that’s stress testing!!

Also we are not done testing on the KDS prototype simply because we like to Rwreck & Destroy stuff!
